Every week we'll share our favorite podcast episode, recipe, influenced item, a tip on living better everyday and something that inspired us. How much fun it that?!

Podcast:

Jess is all ears for Malcolm Gladwell's new podcast. It's brand new and  we're yet to listen, but it's come HIGHLY recommended and so we felt all sorts of inclined to share!

Recipe:

If y'all remember previous week's influence - I recently got an Ice Cream maker and it's been SO much fun. I love making my own creations and  we're finally getting the hang of it!!

  • 3/4 Cup Almond Milk (Unsweetened)
  • 1/2 Cup MonkFruit Sweetener (Or swap with sugar preference)
  • 1 1/2 Cup Coconut Cream
  • 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • Put all ingredients in Blender >> Transfer to Ice Cream Machine

Voila! 20-25 minutes later you've got the perfect Dairy Free Vanilla base - and then you can add the toppings / extras that you want. If you're asking me - I love some peanut butter drizzled in, and some Lilly's Chocolate Chips on top!

Influenced:

Katy Roach is always rockin' good style, and she often posts Express styles. After a little perusing on the website after her influence, I signed up for the Express Style Trial membership and I'm feeling so excited about it. Each month is $60 and you get unlimited shipments of clothes (that you pick out might I add) shipped to you Dry Cleaned and ready to wear. When you're done - you ship it back to them, they wash it and rotate it to the next. How fun is that?

Better Everyday:

You know what makes me better everyday? Good sleep. My dog, who is a little bit older (16) has been causing many sleepless nights for us. The Relax Melodies app has been a lifesaver in keeping me snoozing through the night.

Inspired:

When the assistant nurse manager at Bayshore Medical Center (in New Jersey) contacted us about her staff needing a pick-me-up during the pandemic, we knew we wanted to help. I mean, nothin' picks up a mood like a brand new planner, right? We hope that's not just us. Thanks to ALL the medical staff who have been on the front lines during a challenging time. You all are absolute angels.
