The Friday Five | March 27

Every week we'll share our favorite podcast episode, recipe, influenced item, a tip on living better everyday and something that inspired us. How much fun it that?!

Here's the breakdown!

Podcast:

While we're all experiencing a difficult time,  we've been finding our selves getting distracted with podcasts, books on tape and dare we say... Netflix originals...

Gretchen Rubin recently published a list of her top 10 gold star podcasts, and we were thrilled to see one of our favs on the list; Ten Percent Happier with Dan Harris. If you haven't already given this podcast a listen - it's a high recommend from Team KIT. Specifically, we love episode #178 with Gretchen Rubin titled "Outer Order, Inner Calm."

Recipe:

Restaurant closures + increased at-home hours. That's the perfect recipe for some more cookin' in the kitchen. Jess and fam crafted up Our Salty Kitchen's Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken and  it looks DELISH. Gonna have to give this one a try after Jess's rave review.

Influenced:

Jenny follows @bookofthemonth for reading recommends - and  recently recognized "The Two Lives of Lydia Bird" from their list while at the library. Another great recommend!

Better Everyday:

At-home workouts are EVERYTHING right now. Finding workouts you enjoy is key to continuing your practice. Jessica likes to switch things up - and  this week has been enjoying workouts by PopSugar on YouTube.

Inspired:

Giving feels good for both parties involved. So, to us, Anne Frank's famous quote speaks volumes this week.

"No one has ever become poor by giving." We couldn't agree more.
