Ho! Ho! 2017 Holiday Gift Guide

by Jessica Locke

Here it is! The 2017 Holiday Gift Guide from Team KIT. It should come as no surprise to any of you that we #kitgirls like to PLAN our holiday shopping. In fact, throughout the year we’ve been keeping a list of items that make great gifts. Whether it be something we bought for someone else or (ahem) ourselves – if it was #kitgirl worthy – we made a note of it!

Compiled here are a variety of suggestions for all the loves in your life.

If she loves make up and glamour this highlighter makes it easy to get your glow on!

This laundry wash is pricey –but smells heavenly!

These earrings are light as a feather and super chic.

Target kills it again with the launch of “A New Day” apparel and accessories. The style and quality are top notch.

Winter Months mean dry skin for most gals – this will keep her pucker in great shape and ready for some mistletoe.

These aprons are adorable! Lots of variety to suit her personality.

These tea spoons are so sweet! Perfect for moms/teachers and hostesses.

Anything from Barefoot Dreams is just that - a dream. They have cardigans, robes, blankets. They take cozy to a new level!

For the baker – these mats make clean up a breeze!

This little egg cooker is the bomb. It’s essential for Sunday meal Preppin! We all have one and use it weekly.

Here’s a bottle opener thats unique and the magnet is super strong. The bottle caps stick to the wood.

This wallet is a dream. It neatly holds credit cards and cash – but is very slim and stylish.

We hate to mention unmentionables – but… we’ve been told these are quite nice!

This subscription box is a splurge – but a lovely indulgence for the man in your life.

Man Crates – super fun and original gifts for the manly man!

Hatchimals Colleggtibles for an eggcellent Holiday!

Soggy Doggy Board Game for the animal lover in us all.

Pick your team and have some fun with this Nerf Rival toy.

We can’t believe these aren’t sold in more stores. They are heaven sent. The squeakers are silent – only dogs can hear the noise they make. Genius!!!

Dogs love these “chips” and we love them because they don’t leave a yucky smell on your hands when you pass them out!

Chicken Chips – If your dog has a stocking (and what dog doesn’t?) these make a yummy stuffer.

Couple of things to mention:

You’ll notice we made effort to include some Etsy shops as we feel it’s important to #shopsmall and we encourage you to look for specialty shops and local crafters in your area as well. Farmers Markets, Church Bazaars and Thrift Stores are all reliable sources. We find that smaller handmade items not only make special gifts – you can generally communicate directly with the craftsperson to ensure your gifts are created and packaged in a unique way. Plus, you often save money while supporting someone else’s passion.

Now, despite all the giftable options we’ve provided here we do want to point out that while it’s always nice to give something tangible – gifting experiences can have tremendous value! We urge you to get creative this season and treat those close to you to an event or experience of some sort. Think about their interests and hobbies and plan something they wouldn’t ordinarily organize for themselves. We bet you’ll find that many on your list would be thriiled with the special gift of your time and attention!

And Lastly – its not too late to make use of your Gift Tracker located just prior to November 1st in your 2017 KIT Daily Planner. This little tool will help keep you on track with your recipients and also your budget!

We sure hope this list offers you some useful options to consider. And PLEASE let us know your favorite gift ideas as well. As they say – the More the Merrier, right #kitgirls!

And Lastly - we'll leave you with a tweetable - hope it inspires you to spread joy, love and light this Holiday Season and throughout the upcoming year.

"I still believe in Santa Claus. He may not be the one that puts the presents under the tree, but his spirit works through us each time we give freely without expectation and each time we spread joy, love, and light".
- Meadow Linn (Tweet That!)
