Hello, Spring.

by Team KIT

Spring is here, #kitgirl, and Team KIT has some very exciting plans this month! Did you see those fab new apparel products that just hit the shop? What planner addict could resist adding these gems to their wardrobe?

Time to dust off those boots, because Team KIT is headed to Nashville for the Wild for Planners event! We are so excited to join all these amazing ladies and presenting Power Planning: Plan Like an Entrepreneur. We just cannot wait to join this planner squad!

Welcome April

EAT YOUR PRODUCE

April is a great time to include asparagus and zucchini in your veggie rotations. Both are delicious, versatile and super healthy. Berries are ripening every day with strawberries leading the pack. These heart shaped gems will stay fresh longer if you leave the caps on until you nosh.

BE WELL

Genetic testing is a new trend in wellness; the idea being that by identifying certain chromosomes, genes or proteins, you can possibly confirm or rule out genetic conditions, disorders or diseases.

CELEBRATE WHAT’S GOOD

After April Fools' on the 1st, you can celebrate Walk to Work Day on the 7th and Earth Day on the 22nd. Easter celebrations will abound on the 16th and throughout the month you can celebrate and learn about National Autism Awareness Month, National Alcohol Awareness Month and a relatively new and noteworthy one- National Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY

By now you know that oxcytocin is the powerful hormone in our bodies that helps produce and maintain feelings of happiness and love. Here are some proven ways to boost your levels: Hug often, laugh

frequently, call a friend, pet an animal, hold a baby, listen to soothing music, take a walk outside, share a meal or perform an act of genuine kindness for someone else.

A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA...

If you're starting some springtime planting this month, consider this tip the next time you boil or steam veggies for dinner. Instead of pouring the water down the drain, save and cool it, then use it to water your plants. Your potted plants will love and heartily respond to the veggie broth!
