- 2017/2018 Overview
I received this planner a little over a week ago and just fell in love. The packaging was great and the products are gorgeous! The planner itself I really like as well. I love the functionality of the additional stickers and that the planner has a single page dedicated to each day. My one and only complaint is that Saturday and Sunday are not also on their own pages with the same spread as the rest. Especially for someone in retail like myself, I have just as much, if not more, going on on the weekend. Even more importantly the habits that are being formed throughout the rest of the week in the planner, are interrupted on Saturday and Sunday. I do like the peek at the week, but I would almost want that to be a part of the moveable dashboard as a dry erase piece or as an additional half page between weeks. Other than that, there really isn't much room for the binder to get bigger over time. I attempted to add in the dashboard with my to do list inside of it, and the book would no longer close properly. This is primarily due to the hard back cover. I wouldn't want to give that up, so maybe adding an additional 1/4-1/2 inch to the spiral will allow for more realistic usage of the dashboard and back pockets. it would also be great to have a place at the end of each week to track progress on specific goals. Maybe have a few habit trackers on the page along with a "carry over" list of tasks that were not completed. Might even add in a wellness success and opportunity. But really, those are all just ideas for improving the planner beyond what it currently is. To be honest I love how this planner feels! I love the size and the colorful pages. It makes me want to plan even more than I already do.
